The other day it rained enough for me to actually use my wipers. Abby said, "Mommy, what are those things on the window?" I guess it hasn't rained in soooooo long she forgot what windshield wipers were!!!!!

When Phillip and Rachel came in April, they brought Noah's galoshes. He had had them for a while but it hadn't rained for him to wear them. Fortunately, it was before the drought and he got to splash through puddles in the drive. But now I was beginning to feel like Abby about the "mia" raindrops.
