Memphis

Brady and I are in Memphis for the weekend and we are staying at The Peabody. You know, the hotel that's famous for it's southern hospitality and it's ducks. The Peabody first opened in 1865 so you can imagine the history this hotel represents! We are here with several of Brady's AFLAC associates, but tonight we are meeting our old and dear driends, Jamey and Michelle for dinner. Jamey and Michelle only live about twenty miles from here which made and called for some time together!! Well, gotta go! Jamey and Michelle will be here soon!

Father's Day at the Lake

We enjoyed some fun in the sun and water for Father's Day. The kids jumped off the boat and swam, swam, swam!!! The kids also rode the inner tube for the first time and they had such fun! Brady and dad got a kick out of watching the kids which was a Father's Day gift in itself!

One tired little boy!!! After this short nap, John Brady got right back out in the water! He has more energy than all of us combined!

They're gonna grow up........big, like daddy's

John Brady was sitting at my mom's dining room table with my mom. I know, another John Brady story. I promise to post more about the girls. It's just he says the darndest things! Mom said he didn't have his shirt on (surpise, huh?) and he looked down, pointed to his chest and said, "They're gonna grow up......big, like daddy's. Nanny, are yours big?" Mom, tried not to laugh and said, "No, mine aren't big at all." John Brady, with outstretched arms, said, "Mommy's are REEAALLYY BIG!"

(I asked Brady what will he think when sees someone who is truly blessed?!)

Summer is off to a GREAT start!

Well, my mom's plan succeeded! My mom started a "mini-farm" for her grandchildren. First, dad built a barn for mom and then mom acquired some roosters and then right before she got sick added laying hens. She wanted the kids to see the hens lay eggs and eventually see the baby chicks hatch. Last week the kids got to see just that! They actually got to see the chicks cracking right out of the eggs! Emma, Abby, and John Brady were AMAZED!!! Three baby chicks! One for each! Aren't they cute??

Another favorite part of visiting mom and dad is picking strawberries!

And what is more fun than making a huge glob of bubbles?? This is what happens when you leave John Brady alone with a gallon of bubble juice!

Another fun activity: An afternoon of painting together.

Emma, Abby, and John Brady have also been swimming with MeMe and Pop and have been to the splash pad in Fayette with Nanny and Papa! This week Emma and Abby are attending the Mega Sports Camp at our church and John Brady is starting part time preschool at the preschool program at our church! And I am busy with photo sessions during and in between their activities. It's going to be a busy summer for us all!! :)
