Abby's 4th grade field trip to Huntsville Space and Rocket Center - May 1, 2012

Abby's last field trip as a 4th grader was a trip to 

the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center.

Brady went with her and was able to get some great pics for me.

Emma's 5th grade cookout

Each year the 5th grade has a cookout and a day of fun and games.  It's a day for the 5th grade to enjoy each other before school ends and middle school approaches.  Brady helped cook hamburgers and I was on hand to help with games.

Emma's 5th grade dance | | May 11, 2012

Every year HPES has a 5th grade dance complete with Hors d'oeuvres, decorations, music, and dancing.  It reminded me of a mini-prom.  The whole 5th grade looks forward to the dance every year and this year was no different.  Emma was super excited to wear a pretty dress, wear a little make-up, and have her hair rolled.  (all of the things we rarely do)

I completely love her before pics.  I do.  And I think she looked just fabulous, but my favorite pics are these last two which were taken after the dance.
