Northwood Lake Swim Team competed in the City-County Tournament on July 15, 2012. This was the biggie for all summer swim teams. Being "green" as swim team participants we had no idea how huge this was and how LONG it would last! Whew! It was an all day event in a sweltering swim facility! I started out in the stands but quickly took to the pavement to get the best shots of my swimmers. It didn't take long to realize it was much cooler to walk around and sneak moments in front of the big fans than to sit in the stands! Abby and John Brady did great in each of their individual events (times are posted at the end) as well as in their first ever relays! This meet, however, was more about the team and as a team, NWL did outstanding against the other teams!
NWL took second place overall!
