Abby's 10th Birthday Party || August 18, 2012

 Together with family and many friends we celebrated Abby's 10th birthday at Yellow Creek.  The kids had fun swimming and jumping off of the rope swing.  After a little swimming we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, ate cookie cake, and ate ice cream with lots of toppings.  Later Abby opened gifts on the pier.  Abby's friend, Lizann, and the Albeas stayed the night at the cabin with us.  Brady cooked a nice meatloaf dinner for us before he and Stuart went out fishing.  Christy helped me with a painting activity with the kids.  The next morning the kids wanted to hit the creek for one more swim.  Birthday party number ten for Abby was a success!!

Allie was nervous at first about the rope swing, but I think she got the hang of it.  We'll make a "creek girl" out of her yet!

Abby really enjoyed her party and was so thankful for everyone 

who could make it down to the creek to celebrate with her!

She did, however, miss her friends, Brenna and Lindsey.  

Brenna couldn't make the trip and poor Lindsey was sick.)
