New Years Day 2009

A day at Nanny and Papa's filled with singing, dancing, bunnies, and eggs!! Mom had only been home about 2 days before this and was tickled beyond measure to have the kids ripping and roaring through her house again!!

It's the Great Bunny Race!! John Brady chased his bunny all over trying to catch her!

Then Emma's bunny made a run for it and there she went!

Ahhhhh, so close!!

Daddy and John Brady finally hemmed her up!

As many of you know, my mom started a "mini-farm" in the months before she became ill. Her dream was to have "laying chickens" for the kids to see just where eggs came from. Oh, the things you do for your grandchildren! Well, those darn chickens never would lay eggs. Then, just right after mom got the word she was to officially go home, low and behold, the chickens started laying eggs!!! Here's eggs number 3 and 4, the ones that arrived on New Year's Day!! Sweet!!! (as Emma would say)





The kids also enjoyed riding on an old car hood that was tied to the Gator driven by none other than PaPa!! I do have a short video of this, but I was so far away you would have a difficult time seeing it clearly. It was so funny to watch and even more so to hear their squeals of laughter!
