SWIMMING LESSONS AT BAMA SWIM

John Brady, along with Allie, started swimming lessons at the UA rec center a couple of weeks ago. The first two pics are from his first lesson. As you can see, he and Allie are eyeing the folks on the inner tubes riding by on the "lazy river". Christy and I are itching to bring our swimsuits and catch a ride on those inner tubes!

Brady snapped the next few pics from yesterday's lesson which was in the indoor pool because the other pool was soooo crowded. Now why couldn't they have moved the lessons inside any of the times that I took him??!! Well, at least Brady got a break from the HEAT!

Abby Loses Her First Tooth!

Remember when I commented on an earlier picture that Abby finally had a loose tooth? Well, just yesterday she let Katelynn pull it! Thanks Katelynn!! Let me tell you, this tooth was hanging by a mere thread because the girl just would not let anyone touch it. And the permanent tooth was completely through behind the baby tooth! Abby was very anxious for the tooth fairy to come, so much that she could not go to sleep. After several pleadings from Abby and an assurance from us that the tooth fairy would "know" that she would be in our bed, Abby settled in for the night. She wanted to know how the tooth fairy would get in our house, and I told her I left her a key when Emma lost her first tooth. Now the tooth fairy keeps it hidden outside so she can use the next time. I told Abby it would be too heavy for the tooth fairy to carry around all the the keys for all the little girls and boys!! Whew!! What a strectch! It satisfied my most inquisitive child, so I felt pretty proud! This morning Abby was tickled to find the $5 that was left by the tooth fairy! :)

Happy Birthday Pops!!

Happy Birthday to our Pops! Today he will get to spend the day with Emma and Abby. What fun!! They took their babies with them so maybe he won't mind having to take care of a couple of extra grandbabies!!! These are the most recent pics I could find (taken in Feb.). We really need to work on getting some updated pictures! Hope you have a great day and you get your new TV fixed! We love you, Pops!!!!!!!

Allie Spends The Night

Last Saturday Allie stayed with us while Christy and Stuart went out for Stuart's 30th birthday. That evening the kids had a blast playing in the sprinkler set.

Allie and John Brady, with bright and shiny smiles, are ready for church on Sunday morning. When I dressed Allie, she told me proudly, "my mommy made this." She probably says that a lot since Christy makes all of her dresses.

Last Game
