It happened. Our kids are attending three different schools. Talk about a routine change, but so far so good. My dear, sweet Emma started 6th grade at Echols Middle School. Although she was a tad nervous, she is handling it like a pro! It helped tremendously that we got to have three practice runs before school started. My precious Abby started 5th grade at HPES and has senior ranking so other than having a new teacher (Mrs. Hulsey), it's old hat to her. My big baby boy, started 2nd grade at NES and is in Mrs. Harton's class.

New pup, Lolo, missed them so much!
I missed them, too, but it was so nice to have a quiet house all to myself for a few hours! No TV. No radio. Just the sound of me tapping on my laptop. :) And then, it was time to get in the horrid pick up line at NES. It took so long I had to get Brady to pick up Emma and meet me at home. We've been trying to work out the kinks and are hoping for an easier pick up routine in the coming weeks.
All in all everyone had a terrific first week
