A Best Friend's Birthday Message
Two of Allie's baby cousins from Georgia celebrated their very first birthdays last weekend so she couldn't make it John Brady's party. She sent this adorable video instead. :)
When I told the kids, the reason Allie couldn't come, they were quite upset. Here's a direct quote: Mama, won't her cousins' birthdays ALWAYS be on John Brady's birthday?? Good point. Very touching that they know the importance of attending your cousins birthday parties! I did, however, assure them that Allie most likely won't always attend her cousins' birthday parties because her cousins live in Georgia.

Birthday dinner at The Peanut Place
John Brady chose to eat at The Peanut Place (Logan's Restaurant) for his birthday dinner. I let him open one gift from us after dinner. I was trying to make him hold out until 7:22 p.m., his time of birth, but couldn't make him wait any longer.
Instead of singing Happy Birthday they took John Brady to the center of the dining area and gave him a BIG Yee-Haw!!
He got a little embarrassed!
Later that night John Brady got his Uncle Josh birthday call.
Thank you Uncle Josh for remembering to call each of our kids on their birthdays!! It means more than you will ever know!!
